~ The Way of the Shaman by Vasily Mahanenko ~

Master’s Reader Note ~ 4/20

Summary : The pacing of this narrative is excessively and consistently slow as death. Despite my efforts, I found it challenging to progress beyond the first volume to explore subsequent parts, as the protagonist’s acquisition of even minimal power is too much delayed. But if the slow pacing and the lack of power, and lazy justification in the beginning of the story does not faze you, feel free to try it out !

Narrative Pace and Story Density ~ 7/20

Too damn slow, not enough conflict, no way it will get a good grade on my Overpowered Reviews Website.

Overpowered Rating ~ 2/20

Does not belong there, friend. Nothing is overpowered, pacing towards power is too damn slow. If you have the patience you might experience it (the overpowered part) later maybe. I laughed a lot when I saw a forum discussing “if the story gets better after Volume 1 ?” sorry I have no patience to find out.

Quality of the plot ~ 12/20

The plot is slow to take place, but is solid enough. Weird way to construct the story tho, and weak justification of events even as the story begins.

Strenght of the World-Building ~ 12/20

Original world-building aspect, and well developped in general. I did not experience the story enough to give further analysis
