The “unpleasant” aspects of the female character’s personality are sometimes forced. Trash talk is often present throughout the story, which creates an interesting atmosphere. The stakes revolve around selfishness and trust in others. The main character is particularly stupid which can be off-putting, especially at the beginning. The plot tries to justify this phenomenon in a shaky way, which remains true even when the justification has disappeared. The story is nevertheless interesting and worth looking into.

Narrative Pace and Story Density ~ 17/20

The story’s pace is very good, with well-managed rhythm and scene transitions. It will keep you hooked, and sometimes you won’t be able to put it down.

Overpowered Rating ~ 15/20

Genre Overpowered conventions are present, with a promising ability obtained early but slightly underutilized. Not enough power displays or humor to transform it into a masterclass, but these elements become more present from the fourth or fifth volume. This rating applies to the entire series, which improves over time. However, there’s too much case of captivity which somewhat tarnishes the image of the Overpowered hero.

Quality of the plot ~ 14/20

Sometimes you can feel the plot being pushed in particular directions, but nothing that makes reading unpleasant for long. Sometimes exceptional positive elements pile up, and you can feel it’s because the plot is taking us somewhere, which can be a bit “too much” at times.

Strenght of the World-Building ~ 17/20

A unique and original universe, with mechanics that serve both the characters and the plot.
